What's new to the Audi Q3
The Audi Q3 sees very little in the way of changes from the previous year. The latest model year of the Audi Q3 gets a new and improved infotainment system and increased standard safety features. That's as far as the updates go, though.
Performance
The Audi Q3 manages plenty of performance options despite the rather limited trim lineup. The Audi Q3 provides Covington drivers with two engine options, with the base engine being a spritely 2.0-liter inline-4 turbocharged (40 TSFI engine) that makes 184 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. This base engine comes standard with all-wheel drive and pairs with an 8-speed automatic transmission. More power can be had by opting for a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that makes 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque (45 TSFI engine). This engine also works with an 8-speed automatic transmission and features all-wheel drive functionality.
Technology
Staying connected is more important than ever, and then Audi Q3 makes it easy thanks to an extensive set of tech features. The Premium Audi Q3 trim level includes an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, and a basic audio system. The Premium trim also allows for a Convenience package to be added, which adds satellite radio. The Premium Plus trim adds in wireless charging along with satellite radio. The Premium Plus trim makes a Technology package available, with additions include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay connectivity, Amazon Alexa connectivity, a navigation system, a larger digital instrument display, and a Sonos premium audio system.
Interior Features
Luxury interior features abound with the Audi Q3, with the Premium trim coming with impressive features like a panoramic sunroof, a power liftgate, tri-zone automatic climate control, leather-trimmed seats, and heated front seats. The Convenience package adds in a hands-free liftgate, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and keyless entry. The Premium Plus trim touts ambient lighting along with all features that come with the Convenience package. The Premium Plus trim also allows for the Black Optic package to be added, which adds sport seats.
Safety
Mandeville drivers can look forward to a robust suite of driver assistance features with all trim levels of the new Audi Q3. The Premium trim comes equipped with frontal collision mitigation, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, lane departure alert, and parking sensors. The Premium Plus trim comes with all the same features as the base Premium trim along with lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera system.
